Royal Concrete Concepts has become a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, joining a community of more than 15,000 member organizations dedicated to promoting environmentally responsible, healthy buildings that are also profitable.

Taking their greening to a corporate level as well, Royal Concrete has implemented numerous environmentally friendly practices at their Okeechobee, Fla., manufacturing facility. Some of the measures include paper-recycling bins at each desk, eliminating nearly all Styrofoam cups from employee lunchrooms, and recycling all the steel, polystyrene and concrete throughout the facility. They upgraded their on-site transportation by replacing gas-powered golf carts with bicycles, and small economy cars replaced larger, inefficient trucks for field work, where applicable.
