National Gypsum has announced the release of BIM objects for
building, design and construction professionals’ use in design, specification
and scheduling. The BIM objects are available through Autodesk Seek.
The system families provide Revit users with models that
integrate manufacturer specific data into drawings and specifications to
streamline workflow and improve accuracy.

BIM objects are the latest addition to National Gypsum’s
web-based tool set, which already includes Submittal Builder and Green Product
Score (GPS). The Submittal Builder allows professionals to choose product
technical information including submittal pages, guide specifications and MSDS,
which can be bundled into a single PDF. Green Product Score is an easy-to-use
online resource designed to create customized sustainable materials data
sheets.
