Powers Fasteners, Inc., a leading domestic manufacturer of concrete anchoring systems, has opened a large state-of-the-art engineering research and testing laboratory at the company’s world headquarters building in Brewster, N.Y.

The 15,000 square-foot laboratory replicates actual jobsite environments, and is considered the “foremost test facility in the country for cracked concrete,” according to company president Jeffrey Powers. “It enables Powers Fasteners to accommodate specialty requests and applications, and to thoroughly test and validate products and procedures,” he concluded.

Powers Fasteners offers an extensive line of mechanical and adhesive anchors, roofing fasteners, gas-firing tools and powder actuated fastening systems serving professional construction and plant maintenance markets. The company has manufacturing facilities in Michigan, Indianapolis and Chicago, along with 28 regional sales locations throughout the United States.
