The company has converted all major acoustical fiberglass-based product lines to a more earth-friendly core material. These fiberglass board and blanket materials are produced by Knauf using its Ecose technology.

Entire insulation line conversion

All Knauf mechanical insulation products, including Friendly-Feel Duct Wrap, Eclipse Duct Board, Duct Board M, Sonic XP Duct Liner and Rigid Plenum Liner have now been converted to Ecose Technology, as well as its pipe and equipment insulation products.

Fire-rated expansion joint system

The EMSHIELD WFR2 (which stands for Wall, Fire-Rated, 2-hours) performs all the functions necessary to accommodate movements in a single installation, reducing the environmental impact while meeting fire-safety and building codes.

High-recycled content ceiling panels

The Ecophon Master Solo S Ceiling Panel allows creative design in ceiling spaces and permits the easy integration of a variety of lighting systems. The panel is manufactured from high-density fiberglass and has a high recycled content of 75 percent.
