November 19-21, Boston Convention Center, Boston

Boston, the historic cradle of the American Revolution and home to innovations that have far-reaching impact, is the perfect place to celebrate Greenbuild 2008’s theme, “Revolutionary Green: Innovations for Global Sustainability.” This year’s Greenbuild International Conference and Expo will take place in Boston Nov. 19-21.

Buildings play a critical role in protecting and improving our environment and the health of the people who occupy them. USGBC’s Greenbuild event is an unparalleled opportunity to connect with other green building peers, industry experts, and influential leaders as they share insights on the green building movement and its diverse specialties.

Greenbuild 2007, held in Chicago, Ill., was the biggest ever–topping out at 22,835 attendees. It featured three days of extensive green building educational sessions and workshops, a vast exhibition floor, and numerous networking events. The exhibit hall was aflame with excitement, as invigorated attendees viewed the 850 exhibitor booths, the hundreds of workshops, dozens of keynote and master speakers, LEED workshops and tours of green buildings around the city. In addition, during the conference USGBC presented its annual Leadership Awards.

Plans are still in the works for the 2008 show and registration is expected to open in the spring of 2008. “We’re looking forward to our 2008 show in Boston, which is anticipated to be ‘revolutionary,’” said USGBC Communications Coordinator Ashley Katz.
