Sto Powerwall Stucco Systems was selected as the cladding of choice for the Southface Energy Institute’s Eco Office in Atlanta, slated for completion this summer. The office is slated to earn the Southeast’s first LEED Platinum-level rating for New Construction from the U.S. Green Building Council.

The three-story structure, approximately 10,000 square feet, will serve as a model of environmentally responsible commercial construction and demonstrate that green building creates a healthy and productive workplace with reduced operating costs. The office will showcase innovative ideas for saving energy and water, reducing waste, re-using and recycling materials, and maintaining a healthy indoor environment. The building will feature a two-story classroom, two private offices and workstations for the staff.

The office will use Sto Powerwall Stucco Systems (over insulated concrete forms) and the company’s Powerflex Silco. Sto is a member of the USGBC.
