Dietrich Metal Framing will offer a new software package, Dietrich Product Selector, which is designed to assist qualified engineers, framing estimators, and other design professionals in the preliminary design of curtainwall assemblies.

The software allows users to customize default settings based on applicable building codes, wind zones and component preferences. Users can create packages of components for a particular project including the selection of members, connections, and the design of jambs, headers, and sills for openings. The selections can be saved, printed, or edited as required to keep up with design changes or other modifications.
