The Trakloc® Framing System is an interior drywall stud that locks into the track, allowing metal framers to construct non-load bearing walls faster than with traditional metal studs. Trakloc virtually eliminates the need to screw studs to the track, using its patented “twist and lock” method. The framer simply twists, locks and extends the stud between tracks, which are installed in the same manner as conventional tracks.
In addition, Trakloc minimizes the need for scissor lifts or scaffolding. Because the stud easily snaps into the track and telescopes, framers spend less time on lifts or ladders, making job sites safer and keeping workers healthier.
Trakloc studs also have a telescopic property that allows the user to adjust the stud to varying heights without requiring cutting and joining of studs. Trakloc studs can compress to fit in standard elevators, which makes loading of retrofit jobs much easier. Additionally, the Trakloc System reduces the amount of scrap and money spent on hauling waste.
With its innovative design and easy to use concept, Trakloc has decreased labor costs by up to 50 percent.
