The Monokote MK-6 bonds tightly to steel and concrete substrates, forming a hard surface that does not spall, dust or flake. The product, being gypsum based, is not designed for continuous exposure to weather or water. If regular exposure to moisture or repeated physical contact is likely, specify Type Z-106 Fire Stopping to provide increased durability.
