KeyCoat is a 100-percent-acrylic direct-to-the-wall adhesive and liquid-membrane weather barrier. It locks EPS firmly in place and provides its own weather barrier. It is applied to the sheathing, adhering either drainage or flat EPS, and can be rasped in four hours' time. Building paper or mechanical fasteners are not needed. The system creates the secondary barrier and attachment for the drainage system.
