Someone you know of once said, "Lucky for the rulers that men do not think." Walls and Ceilings recently published a story in which I understood the writer to say "subcontractors should be more concerned about whom they work for rather than the contracts they sign." Although I respect the writer, I don't agree for several reasons.
How many general contractors do you know who have been in business for 50 years? Of those in business for 50-plus years, how many of them would you expect to file bankruptcy or simply not pay you even though you've always had a great relationship?
