SIP Tape is a breathable yet weather-tight joint sealant. Capable of bridging the gap between structural insulated panels, the tape helps ensure an air-tight seal of the building envelope when properly installed. The butyl adhesive combined with the flexibility of the non-woven film allows it to conform to both the simple and complex joints that can be created with SIPs. It rests behind the exterior cladding system but may be exposed for up to eight months during construction. It is fast and easy to install.
