The construction industry added 34,000 jobs on net in August, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors analysis of data released Sept. 6 by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. On a year-over-year basis, industry employment grew by 228,000 jobs, an increase of 2.8 percent.

The AIA 2024 Board of Directors issued a statement on Monday, Aug. 26, that addressed recent allegations of AIA misspending and retaliation.

This PCR for fenestration systems provides manufacturers with the base document needed to develop Environmental Product Declarations.

Associated Builders and Contractors reported on Feb. 13 that its Construction Backlog Indicator declined to 8.4 months in January, according to an ABC member survey conducted from Jan. 22 to Feb. 4. The reading is down 0.6 months from January 2023.

The Missouri Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, an agency of the U.S. Department of Defense, honored Johnathan Tallent with a Patriot Award. Tallent is a factory-order supervisor for EFCO, a brand of Apogee Enterprises’ architectural framing systems segment.
