Techstyle ceiling panels are made from a lightweight fiberglass composite. Its load-bearing characteristics allow the tiles to span up to 16 square feet without sagging and to absorb the force of normal impact and bounce back. The large format panels and narrow 1/4 inch reveal create the monolithic appearance of drywall when installed in a 15/16-inch T-grid. The panel’s honeycomb structure provides superior acoustical properties since it is absorptive at high and low frequencies, unlike most ceilings. The overall Sound Absorption Average for the panel is .89 and the Noise Reduction Co-efficient is .85.
