Cafco-Board is an asbestos-free, rigid, mineral wool board that provides up to four hours’ fire protection for columns, up to three hours’ protection for beams and floor/ceiling assemblies, and up to two hours’ protection for roof assemblies in commercial and industrial construction. The board is applied directly to surfaces by impaling over weld or clip pins and fastened with clinch shields or screws with washers. The product is available unfaced, foil-faced or in a white all-service jacket.
