Made from the strontium group of photoluminescence pigments, Kryptaglow paint emits a neon glow that can last up to 10 hours in total darkness. The paint has passed the Material Equipment Acceptance standards with the highest brightness rating achieved for safety paint. The paint now meets the standards required in New York City, established following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, that require photoluminescent markings in buildings more than 75 feet tall to help occupants and workers find their way out in an emergency situation.
