Kurt Dallesasse has been named Director of Purchasing for Parksite, Inc., a national employee-owned building material distributor based in Batavia, Ill. Dallesasse has 35 years of experience in the building industry and was formerly with Stock Lumber.



Parksite, Inc. has named Scott Gettelfinger as Director of Commercial Sales. He will work across business units to create and establish the vision for an expanded commercial offering. A graduate of Indiana University School of Business, Gettelfinger spent 20 years at DuPont, most recently as global business manager for DuPont Nonwovens.



Quad-Lock Building Systems Ltd. of Surrey, British Columbia, has named Dean Ketelhut Sales Director of its Eastern North America region. Based in Portage, Mich., Ketelhut will oversee the activities of all Quad-Lock sales representatives in the Eastern United States and Eastern Canada. He was previously vice president of business-to-business sales for a precast concrete manufacturer in Michigan. Quad-Lock manufactures and distributes Insulating Concrete Form (ICF) systems for walls, floors and roofs.



Marino\WARE, manufacturer of steel-framing products headquartered in South Plainfield, N.J., has announced three promotions:

Jim DesLaurier has been promoted from FrameRite Connectors manager to Director of Marketing. He joined Marino\WARE in April of 2006 and was instrumental in the successful launch of the FrameRite Connectors product line. Prior to joining Marino\WARE, DesLaurier worked for 84 Lumber, Simpson Strong-Tie and MiTek Industries. He will lead the development of Marino\WARE’s brand identity.

Mike McKee has been named Director of Steel Purchasing. He has had a distinguished career working for companies buying both prime and non-prime steel, most recently he spent five years with Clark Steel Framing, and prior to that, five years with Unimast and eight years with Coil Plus.

Lisa Koops is a Sales Representative based in the firm’s Houston, Texas, plant. She worked for several years for Armstrong. She lives in Houston and is responsible for growing the company’s business in its newest market, Houston, South Texas and Southern Louisiana.



Structus Building Technologies, Inc. has announced the promotion of three salespeople to the position of Regional Managers. Tony Pitocco will assume responsibility for the Northeastern Region (Midwestern, Mid-Atlantic, and New York / New England states); Clyde Dockter will manage the Southeastern states (Southern states from Florida to Louisiana, and the central corridor through North Dakota); and Mike Wright will be responsible for the Western states, including Texas.
