The CEMCO “FAS Track” is a revolutionary approach to fire stopping dynamic joints ranging from ½” to 2” total unencumbered movement in wall partitions according to UL 2079. FAS Track is a composite product that combines steel framing and intumescent to protect dynamic joints in cold formed steel/gypsum walls. The unique profile provides Class III (seismic) movement, while eliminating additional requirements of fire caulk, fire resistant sprays, or contour drywall cuts around fluted decks. The simple single source product provides Fire, Air (smoke), and Sound protection while experiencing zero fatigue to the fire resistance during the life of the assembly.
