Simonton Windows has appointed Mark Clark as the new plant manager of its Paris, Ill., manufacturing facility. Clark, who most recently served as focus factory manager for Therma-Tru Corp., begins his new position in Paris on March 1, 2014.

“Mark has been with various Fortune Brands companies since 1995 and brings an extensive amount of experience to his new role at Simonton,” said Mark Wherry, vice president of manufacturing for Simonton Windows. “During his professional career he has worked for our sister companies Therma-Tru, Waterloo and Master Lock. The operations and engineering expertise he brings to this new role will provide for a smooth transition for our window and door manufacturing operations in Illinois.”

A current resident of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Clark and his wife Priscilla will soon move to the Paris area.

“The opportunity to work alongside the team of dedicated workers at the Paris facility is very exciting for me,” said Clark, a graduate of Arkansas State University. “I’m looking forward to strengthening our organization and becoming an active part of the local community.”

Prior to starting his position in Paris, Clark is currently participating in a transition program to provide him with an extensive orientation of the Simonton operations. The Paris operation for Simonton Windows manufactures top-quality vinyl windows and patio doors that provide lasting beauty and energy-efficiency benefits to homes and projects nationwide.
