Premier Properties has announced that plans for a $60 million, 150-unit apartment building in the heart of Rutgers’ campus were unveiled at the Zoning Board meeting last month.

An Arizona developer is bringing the first Libeskind-designed building to the Valley of the Sun through Rainbow Road, a boutique multi-family property located near Roosevelt Row in central Phoenix expected to break ground in the second quarter of 2023.

McShane Construction Company was selected to provide design-assist construction services for Penler Cherokee. Located in Acworth, Georgia, the multi-family community will offer 192 units.

The NHP Foundation, a national not-for-profit provider of affordable housing, announced Jan. 19 that it has finalized the lease of land from Magnificat Houses Inc. in order to build 149 housing units for those experiencing homelessness in Houston. The new apartments at 3300 Caroline will be known as RoseMary’s Place.

Ascendant Development, a luxury apartment and student housing investor, developer and general contractor, announced that it has broken ground on its latest project, Haven at Treeline, a 231-unit, luxury garden-style community located at 17748 N Eldridge Pkwy in Tomball, Texas.

Just in time for the New Year, residents have moved into 36 high-quality affordable apartments in Bronx, New York, in The Allerton, a for-profit development featuring street-level retail, community spaces and a sustainable, healthy design by a powerhouse team of experts from RKTB Architects.

McShane Construction Company was selected by repeat client South City Partners to provide design-assist construction services for Renaissance Park. Located in Fairburn, Georgia, the development will incorporate 288 apartment units.

Construction is completed at The Enzo at Ariston in Buford, Georgia. McShane Construction Company provided general contracting services for the 265-unit development on behalf of their client, TPA Residential.

Leading affordable housing provider The NHP Foundation has secured redevelopment funds for its property Ridgecrest Village Apartments in the Congress Heights neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The deal includes $13.9 million in tax exempt bonds financed by JP Morgan Chase and the DC Housing Finance Agency, $16.8 million in federal funding and DC Low Income Housing Tax Credits, $16.13 million in Housing Production Trust Funds from the DC Department of Housing and Community Development, and $2 million in interim net operating income and deferred fees from NHPF.

The Mastlight at Union Point, a LEED Silver Certified apartment building, contributed to the transformative redevelopment of the former South Weymouth Naval Air Station in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. The area is now known as the vibrant mixed-use district of Union Point.
