High school students with a passion for creative problem-solving are invited to apply for the 2024 Wege Prize High School Collaborative Studio, a paid summer workshop hosted by Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University.
With the Philadelphia School District eliminating nearly all skilled trades- and construction-related curriculum from their middle schools, the Wagner Middle School will host an important introduction to the trades for 150 students on Saturday, Dec. 16, during a 3-hour workshop from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
In April 2024, HPIP in-person training will be returning to Dallas. This upcoming workshop will be a two-day dynamic event with classroom instruction, hands-on installation and direct connections to employers. HPIP has the training materials, Job Corps Centers has the employable learners and industry contractors have the jobs to fill.
Registration for the 2023 Professors’ Workshop is now open. The Professors’ Workshop is designed to provide instructors in civil engineering, architecture, architectural engineering, materials science and construction management programs the latest tools and teaching techniques to effectively engage students in courses that cover structural concrete design, construction, materials and pavements.
In just three weeks, HPIP will begin their 2019 Regional High Performance Training Workshops with their first training hosted by RL Drywall and Insulation, Inc. in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on April 10-11.
