Marino\WARE has announced that some of its product line has meet code ICC code requirements. Viper25, Viper20S (Select) and Viper20D (Deluxe) received an evaluation report (ESR#2620) from ICC Evaluation Service, providing evidence that the ViperStud Drywall Framing System meets these requirements. The construction community, such as builders, architects, contractors, specifiers, designers and others, utilize the ICC-ES Evaluation reports to provide a basis for using or approving metal framing in construction projects following the International Building Codes.

“Marino\WARE can now reference the evaluation report to ensure building officials and the … industry that the product meets I-Code requirements,” says ICC-ES President Mark Johnson. “Building departments have a long history of using evaluation reports and ICC-ES operates as a technical resource for the building department. Final approval of building products is always in the hands of the local regulatory agency.”

ICC-ES thoroughly examined the manufacturer’s product information, test reports, calculations, quality control methods and other factors to ensure the product is code compliant.

“We are very proud to secure this evaluation report for the ViperStud family of products, especially since Marino\WARE was the first manufacturer to achieve this verification from ICC-ES under the latest and more stringent guidelines of the residential and commercial international building codes represented in IBC-2006. This proves our position that we have extensively tested ViperStud to meet the rigors of today’s newest construction standards,” says Marino\Ware’s President and CEO Chip Gardner.
