Flex-Ability Concepts has published a four-page brochure with design load and allowable heights tables for its Flex-C Trac system. Based on design load capacities according to stud depth and Trac thickness, the charts provide allowable heights at lateral loads ranging from 5 to 100 psf. The data is based on SGS US testing and the March 5, 2003, engineering report. The track is made of 20-gauge galvanized sheet metal and is available in 21⁄2-, 35⁄8- and 6-inch widths and 2x4 and 2x6 widths.
