The Chalk-Rite Gear Drive is 82 feet of braided line that makes a clean and consistent marking line, leaving no question where center- or edge-of-line is. It features a line hold-no more twisting the line around the index finger-and smooth gear-drive winding that's three times faster than standard snap line tools. Its case is rugged die-cast aluminum and gasket sealed along the sides and neck to prevent chalk seepage, and it's equipped with an elastomer-wrapped end hook for superior gripping power. The line includes a snap line pull-through tool (stored in the handle) to facilitate line replacement without damaging or altering the diameter of the hole in the chalk-metering pad. And the metallic candy-apple red color will makes it easy to spot.
