The Thickcoat Galvanization, a new line of fasteners, is specifically designed to protect against today's more corrosive pressure treated lumber with alkaline copper quaternary. This fastener coating technology uses an enhanced electro-galvanization process to apply more than two-and-half times the amount of zinc than conventional electro-plating, and couples a chromate layer to each nail for exceptional rust resistance. The fasteners are available in a variety of wire-weld collated stick and coil framing sizes.
