Are you the fastest gun in the West? Find out at the “TOP GUN” competition to be held at the Northwest Wall and Ceiling Industries Annual Convention in Huntington Beach May 1-3, 2014. The rules are simple: install as many screws through 5/8-inch drywall as you can in 15 seconds. (Screws that touch each other, miss the stud, “clickers” or screws that tear the paper do not count.)

The regional preliminary competitions determine the regional representatives from Washington, Oregon, NoCal, SoCal, British Columbia and Alberta. Regional winners will be eligible to compete at the Northwest Wall & Ceiling Industries Annual Convention and Trade Show, to be held May 1-3, 2014, in Huntington Beach, California. You will also compete against others from across the country for a $1,000 top prize and bragging rights of the “Fastest gun in the industry.”

Washington Regional Competition: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on February 1 and 8, at the Western Washington Training Center located at 20424 72nd Ave S., Kent, Wash.

Oregon and SW Washington Regional Competition: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on February 1 and 8, at the PNW Carpenter Institute, located at 42222 NE 158th Ave, Portland, Oregon.
