The EIFS Industry Members Association (EIMA) is continuing to provide resources, tools, and information to the EIFS industry that helps companies safely operate as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to present its challenges. The latest resource can be found on EIMA’s COVID-19 resource page, which has compiled a list of suggestions from anecdotal sources of how an EIFS applicator can accommodate an improved worksite.

“Since March, EIMA has been advocating to states, the National Governors Association, and Congressional leadership, to allow the construction industry the ability to continue their operations,” said David Johnston, Executive Director/CEO for EIMA. “These suggestions continue with our priority of getting our industry back to work, while making sure safety measures are part of each company’s plan to do so.”

EIMA continues to emphasize that all EIFS applicators should be mindful of requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and those of the local health department in the jurisdiction in which the project is located. Conditions vary from site to site, and prepare to spend extra time on almost all tasks.

The Suggestions for Operating EIFS Jobsites While Under COVID-19 Conditions can be found on the COVID-19 page of the EIMA website. Additionally, you’ll find helpful resources from EIMA and other organizations that should assist your company with safely reopening.

The EIFS Industry Members Association, founded in 1981, is a national non-profit technical trade association comprised of leading manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and applicators involved in the EIFS industry. For additional information please visit www.EIMA.com.
