The ACI Foundation Requests Proposals on Behalf of ACI’s Innovation Task Group 93-12
The ACI Foundation is administering a request for proposal on behalf of ACI’s Innovation Task Group 93-12 — Code Requirements for Construction of Additively Constructed Walls (ITG-12). ACI has formed Innovation Task Group 93‐12 ITG‐12 to develop code requirements and design and prescriptive provisions for additively constructed above‐grade concrete walls for residential structures for incorporation into ACI 332 (Residential Concrete Work) and the International Residential Code.
There are currently no published code requirements for the public sector on the design and construction of mortar-based or concrete structural components produced using additive construction (i.e. 3D printing). The mission of ITG-12 is to expedite the development of minimum code requirements for additively constructed concrete walls for residential structures for incorporation into ACI 332.
