California Expanded Metals has announced the purchase of a two building complex on two acres in Denver. The facility will be used to manufacture steel framing, drywall accessories and metal lath. This is part of a long-range goal of expansion for CEMCO. The company has serviced the Denver market for the last 10 years.

“We feel that we can better service Denver and the surrounding areas with a plant in town,” said Tom Porter, executive vice president. “Our research told us that another manufacturer was needed in this market. We intend to be that source of supply for our customer base. Our quality and service has put us in a position to expand into new markets and we feel that we can better service Denver and the surrounding areas with a plant in town.”
