Informative on-the-job guides for building with steel are now available from the Steel Framing Alliance.

The alliance's "How To" series makes its debut with "How To Get Started with Steel Tools. In an easy-to-follow format, the two-sided piece lists and explains the five critical steps to working with steel for the first time. It also provides illustrations and descriptions of necessary tools.

The How To series is based on the National Training Curriculum, the authoritative educational guide for building with steel framing.

Guides to be made available in the near future include "How To Build with Steel-Interior Walls," "How To Work with Steel Framing for Plumbers," and "How to Work with Steel Framing for Electricians."

The series is available for download through www.steelframingalliance.com. It is free to members.
