Manufacturers of OSB will continue to generate most revenues from the residential construction market, according to the Structural Board Association. But now, manufacturers are aiming to market the board to the remodeling industry. According to national census figures, home improvements and repairs of U.S. homes totaled nearly $143 billion in 1999.
Palfinger acquires distribution network and Tiffin
Austria's Palfinger has completed acquisition of the U.S. distributor of Palfinger Cranes, Tiffin Loader Crane Co., and the formation of Palfiner USA Inc. Tiffin will merge its staff specializing in Articulated Cranes and its application, as well as Special Body manufacturing, sales and service.
Palfinger USA Inc. will be responsible for all Palfinger Group distribution in the United States.
