The TradeReady SPAZZER 9200 Bar provides deflection at the head track of metal stud walls and eliminates the bow that occurs in the middle of tall interior studs. The 9200 is a 20-gauge bar that is 50 inches long and is pre-notched to rigidly hold studs on 12-, 16- and 24-centers. These slots are pre-engineered to hold studs in place by utilizing a new concept in bridging. Until now, deflection at the head track was accomplished with slotted head tracks, double head tracks, proprietary profile head tracks, the use of a metal strap across the face of the studs or by fastening the studs to the top track and removing the screws later.
