The StructGuard TS is a structural sheathing that fights mold development while providing code-recognized racking resistance. The panels are designed to be scored and cut using standard drywall tools. This removes the need for access to electricity or power tools during installation and cuts time, labor and expense dramatically. It features the TemShield Mold Protection System, which provided a significant degree of mold protection when tested per ASTM D3273 (Standard Test Method for Resistance to Growth of Mold on the Surface of Interior Coatings in an Environmental Chamber). It is available in 1/2- and 5/8-inch thick panels, 4-feet width and lengths of 8, 9, 10 and 12 feet with square edges. For additional moisture and mold protection, each panel is encased in water-resistant facers with an antimicrobial additive on both sides.
