Activant Solutions Inc. announced that it has been endorsed as a "Business Service Partner" by Nemeon, a purchasing cooperative for independent roofing and siding distributors, to give its members access to industry-specific business management technology solutions licensed by Activant. The agreement is designed to help Nemeon members compete with larger distributors by providing them with access to next-generation technology to manage their businesses and help synchronize best-business practices with the co-op.

"In order to compete in our new economy, small- and mid-sized distributors need to utilize all available resources and technologies to gain every competitive advantage possible," said Tony Cogliandro, CEO of Nemeon. In addition to the availability of Activant's product offering, the agreement also provides members who license the software company's systems with a full service offering, such as a dedicated representative from the company, Web-based training, user group meetings and business consulting.
