Fortifiber Corp. announced that it has completed its purchase of the operations and assets of Firstline Corporation's Valdosta, Ga., facility. The plant represents a strategic addition to Fortifiber's manufacturing locations, expanding the company's product and service capabilities in the Southeast. When combined with its Los Angeles, Fernley, Nev., and Attleboro, Mass., manufacturing facilities, the company will be able to better supply its line of moisture control systems to the building products marketplace.
The Firstline portfolio of building products strengthens Fortifiber's market by providing cost-effective moisture control solutions. According to the company, its housewrap, manufactured housing, roofing, and concrete underslab product lines complements Fortifiber's existing product families. Firstline also brings new capabilities to Fortifiber to address the industrial marketplace with its C&A film and industrial packaging product lines. For more information, visit
