Trim-Tex President Joe Koenig and his family have contributed for the construction of an 8,400 square foot expansion of the SHORE Training Center located in Morton Grove, Ill. Ground was broken in August.

Present at the ground-breaking ceremony was Joe Koenig, Trim-Tex's vice president of operations, Leo Budzik (serving as project director) along with his son, Thomas Budzik (project architect); Gerald Gulley (SHORE's Executive Director); and the Mayor of Morton Grove, Rick Krier.

SHORE Community Services was established in 1962 with the belief that everyone needs to feel vital and useful. Providing programs and assistance to nearly 400 children and adults with developmental disabilities, SHORE Community Services and the SHORE Training Center facilitate the learning of real work skills that are a critical component in accomplishing the program's goals.

Since the training center was launched in Morton Grove in 1991, it has gained a reputation for quality work output.
