Thomson Reuters and The Masonry Society have announced a new agreement to provide downloadable PDF files of TMS standards online. Included in the collection are2008 Masonry Standards Joint Committee’s Masonry Structures and Specification for Masonry Structures, Code Requirements for Determining Fire Resistance of Concrete and Masonry Construction Assemblies, and Standard Method for Determining the Sound Transmission Class Rating for Masonry Walls, all expected to be referenced by the 2009 International Building Code.  

The standards are now available via the Techstreet Web site atwww.techstreet.com. Techstreet, a service of Thomson Reuters, has also built and launched the new TMS Download Store onwww.masonrysociety.org, where users and members can easily find standards in electronic PDF format for immediate download, plus access to Techstreet’s comprehensive online database of more than 400,000 codes and standards from 350 publishers worldwide.  

Other features include automatic document tracking, frequent buyer rewards and a toll-free customer service line. TMS standards are also available in Techstreet Subscriptions, the enterprise solution for industry codes and standards in a Web 2.0 workflow tool.
