The Tyvek Fluid Applied Weather Barrier System provides the combination of air and water holdout. Applied either by spraying or pressure rolling, the product saves time in the installation process by providing two-to-three times as much coverage per gallon as competing products when applied per DuPont installation guidelines. Additionally, combining low shrinkage with high elongation and elastic recovery, the system moves with the building unlike other fluid applied materials that can shrink during curing or crack over time. Withstanding up to nine months of UV exposure before coverage by the façade or cladding, the product enables flexibility in construction schedules. The company backs the system with a limited 10-year product warranty and offers a certified installer program to help ensure products will be installed correctly.
