Trim-Tex hosted a unique Architectural & Design event last Thursday at its Design Center in Lincolnwood, IL to showcase new products tailored towards architects. Many people from Chicago and the surrounding areas attended the event to learn more about the products and network with fellow architects, specifiers and contractors.

Trim-Tex’s Design Center is a large space with many different areas made to look like a different room. Each room showcases a different product line and how it can be used in a creative setting.  Trim-Tex Products highlighted at the event included: LED Bead, Wall Mounted Deflection Bead, and Ceiling Mounted Deflection Bead.

Architect attendees had the opportunity to earn 1 credit hour with AIA accredited speaker, Terry Murphy, who presented “Vinyl in Design”. American English, a Beatles cover band, along with a prize raffle, catered drinks and hors d'oeuvres contributed to the event’s success.

2006 Trim-Tex Drywall Artist of the Year, Tom Sass, from Muskegon, MI was present along with his brother Luke Sass to create a unique drywall design utilizing Trim-Tex products. Originally beginning with a flat wall, the brother duo worked alongside the live music for the duration of the event as attendees watched the wall transform into a piece of art.
