Now, Rust-Oleum introduces Zinsser Mold Killing Primer, a mold killing primer that kills mold, mildew and odor causing bacteria while priming the surface at the same time.

Zinsser Mold Killing Primer is a fungicidal protective coating that can be used to paint over and kill existing surface mold, mildew and odor causing bacteria. It can be applied directly over problem areas without extensive surface preparation and contains an EPA registered antimicrobial agent to prevent the growth of mold, and mildew on paint film.

The water-based primer can be used on both non-porous interior and exterior surfaces. It is recommended for residential, commercial and industrial applications including bathrooms, basements, window frames, office buildings and factories.

Zinsser Mold Killing Primer will dry to a bright white in as little as 30 minutes, and can be top coated after one hour. Full adhesion and hardness will develop within seven days of application. It is available in quarts, gallons and five gallons. One gallon will cover approximately 400-450 square feet.
