EIFS and CI Foam Fasteners

Demand Products

The company offers a full line of EIFS and CI foam fasteners designed for use in wood, light metal, steel and masonry applications. All of its screws feature DegraShield premium coating for optimum corrosion resistance, meeting ASTM-B117. The wood, light metal and steel screws are available in lengths ranging from 1 5/8 to 6 inches long.  The masonry screws are available in lengths from 1 3/4 by 5 inches long. All of the fasteners are shipped in boxed quantities of 1,000 and are also available collated with our PBH, DP300, DP400, DP500 and DP525 washers. The EIFS and CI fasteners have been third party tested. For complete pullout performance data and EIFS manufacturers’ approval letters, visit demandproducts.com.

Collated Fastening Tool

Grabber Construction Products

The SuperDrive N7 is a lightweight, easy-to-use collated fastening tool designed for reaching into even tighter spaces. Its small head design allows it to fit into constricted spaces and its rounded tip won’t damage drywall or other sheathing. The tool is ideal for hanging drywall or sheathing to wood and light to heavy gauge metal. The product can be easily adjusted to handle fastener lengths from 1 to 2 inches with just the click of a button. Fine depth control adjustment is made using the tool’s SureLock fine depth control feature. The fastener is easy to operate and accommodates screw diameters from 6 to 12 gauge. For more information, visit grabberman.com/n7.mp4.

Coil Nailer

Senco

The SNC63LDXP 15-degree, 2 3/8-inch to 2 1/2-inch coil nailer is a highly specialized fastening system designed to only install continuous structural foam insulation panels. The driver blade on the tool extends about 1-inch beyond the safety element in order to drive the nail through the foam and directly into the OSB backer and ultimately, securely fastening into the framing members. A safety foot guide on the fastener ensures proper alignment and a large diameter base helps reduce damage to the foam surface when fasteners are driven. For more information, visit senco.com.

Nose Brad Nailer

Grip-Rite

The company has updated its 18 Gauge Narrow Nose Brad Nailer. Like all of the company’s finish nailers, the GRTBN200N includes metal internal parts for long term durability. Externally, several improvements have been made: the nose was tapered to improve line of sight and to allow the tool to get into tighter locations. A dry-fire lockout was incorporated so the user will never leave any unnecessary marks while installing trim. A swivel plug, selectable trigger and belt hook were also included, making it the right tool to complement Grip-Rite’s complete line of finish nails packaged in convenient 1,000 count belt clips. More information can be found at grip-rite.com.

Founded in 1976 by 18 industry leaders who sought to create an organization where manufacturers and distributors of construction/industrial products could interface. An independent rep agent membership category was added in 1998 and today, STAFDA is an international Association with over 2,100 members. We represent over 35 different product categories within the construction/industrial channel in addition to offering members a variety of educational and member services. STAFDA also has a large Convention & Trade Show each fall with educational workshops and a General Session, social events, and a 650+ booth trade show. Annual dues are $350, less than $1/day, the same as they were when STAFDA began in 1976.
