The Kingspan website has received a facelift to properly house Kingspan’s entire USA product range, which includes 17 different product groups and educational opportunities, in a user-friendly format.
“The launch of the new site aligns the global brand of Kingspan and brings a consistent message to our customers throughout the world,” says Karim Muri, director of marketing, North America, for Kingspan Insulated Panels. “The website was designed with the latest web-design principles and mobile responsiveness in mind to provide users with [great] customer experience. It also has been created to deliver a more unified customer experience across Kingspan’s entire product offering.”
The 17 different product groups offered by Kingspan each have detailed pages that give users information about each product, as well as technical data, installation guides, details and specifications.
Visitors can search specific panel choices easily with the three building envelope categories located on the homepage. Kingspan’s insulated panel systems includes: insulated roof and wall panels specific to the commercial and industrial sectors; architectural panel and façade systems presents the Benchmark by Kingspan architectural solutions; and controlled environments for thermally controlled areas, such as cold storage freezers and coolers, food processing plants and packaging facilities.
Current Kingspan offerings are more accessible to enhance visitors’ online experiences on the new website. To provide a deeper understanding of building with a Kingspan product, AIA/CEU presentations are available on the webpage as well. These lunch-and-learn presentations that last 60 minutes or less make education about specific topics more convenient, officials said.
The new website includes the Kingspan AEC Daily Academy for additional educational opportunities. Kingspan sponsors the courses found in this section that are managed and maintained by the AEC Daily. The AEC Daily is a large source of free continuing education options for architects, engineers and construction professionals.
Other enhancements include case studies and white papers that illustrate the range of design possibilities and building solutions with Kingspan products.
Muri says connecting with clients and customers was priority when considering the design of the new site. “If you ever have a question along the way, online support—covering technical to warranty to field help—is at hand through the website to ensure customers can reach us easily,” he says. “The vast majority of our clients search for information and spec online, so we wanted to make sure they have a smooth, engaging and educational experience with us, and we’re confident this new site delivers that.”
