James Hardie, Century Communities Announce Partnership

October 9, 2018

James Hardie Building Products, a top 10 U.S. homebuilder, announced an exclusive siding partnership. The partnership provides homeowners across Century Communities' 12-state territory access to the full array of James Hardie products, which are known for their uncompromising performance and beautiful design.

Century Communities, founded in 2002, has been named the fastest-growing public builder by Builder magazine. The company builds single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and flats across the West, Mountain, Texas and Southeast Regions. Century Communities is committed to working closely with every customer to create a lasting, aesthetically appealing home that aligns with their vision.

“Partnering with the No. 1 siding brand in North America helps us continue our mission to provide the very best the market has to offer for our customers,” said Mark Adcock, vice president of construction services for Century Communities. “We build new homes with lasting livability, which makes James Hardie products a perfect fit.”

Only James Hardie fiber cement products are engineered for climate to stand up to the demands of the specific climate where they’re installed. In the northern U.S. and Canada, HZ5 products resist shrinking, swelling and cracking even after years of wet or freezing conditions. HZ10 products help protect homes in the south from hot, humid conditions, blistering sun and more. Homeowners can enjoy peace of mind knowing their siding and trim will resist elements like wind, temperature change, pests and fire, which could otherwise damage vinyl, wood or wood-based siding.

“Century Communities shares our passion and dedication for delivering exceptional service and beautiful design with long-term value to homeowners,” said Zean Nielsen, executive vice president, sales, at James Hardie Building Products. “We’re extremely proud to be partnering with a homebuilder that believes in the importance of providing a lasting, high-quality and low maintenance product that not just meets, but exceeds the expectations of customers.”

Homeowners can choose from a variety of low-maintenance James Hardie products including HardiePlank lap siding, HardiePanel vertical siding, HardieShingle siding, HardieSoffit panels, HardieTrim boards and HardieBacker cement board – the No. 1 selling brand of backer board. James Hardie siding and trim are available with ColorPlus Technology, which combines durability and beauty to create a lasting exterior product with baked-on color that resists chipping, cracking and peeling.
