Walls & Ceilings continues to bring the latest information to wall and ceiling contractors to help them survive and thrive during the COVID-19 pandemic. In our latest video interview, W&C's Publisher Jill Bloom and Roofing Contractor's Editorial Director Rick Damato talk with Cotney Construction Law CEO Trent Cotney about the most pressing issues facing contractors as the pandemic continues to impact the economy.

Cotney provides advice on the challenges in handling workers' compensation, applying for the paycheck protection program and dealing with viability. He said there may be an onslaught of litigation against contractors as things begin to settle, so contractors should prepare wisely.

"Think about stuff that you can do both from a practice standpoint dealing with your employees and customers from a safety standpoint and a contractual standpoint," Cotney said.
