The IUPAT Glaziers recently welcomed another new partnership.

The IUPAT Glaziers and Window Outfitters have been looking at ways to uplift the glazing industry and increase training opportunities for labor subcontractors. Well, they have developed a partnership to achieve this. Recently, they spent some time in Dallas talking with glaziers, assessing technicians and talking to technicians about what this partnership means for all involved.

Window Outfitters is further differentiating itself from the competition in the labor arena by:

• Offering Comprehensive Technician Assessments: Identifying technician skills and bringing transparency to the prime contractors.
• Implementing Worker Classifications with Pay Scales: Aligning rates with skills and experience, allowing Window Outfitters to blend rates and lower contractor costs.
• Increased Training Opportunities: Getting technicians the safety and continuing education training needed with access to the IUPAT’s 105 IUPAT Glazier training centers.
• Clear Career Pathways: Encouraging retention and technician career advancement through training milestones and wage increases.
