The BILCO Company has expanded its manufacturer’s representative coverage, assigning Mays, Maune, McWard, Inc. to serve most of Arkansas. The Missouri-based firm already supports BILCO across Missouri, Kansas and portions of Illinois, extending its regional footprint to four states. The new territory excludes northeast Arkansas.

For wall and ceiling contractors, broader rep coverage typically translates to improved access to submittal support, detailing assistance and lead-time coordination for roof hatches, smoke vents and floor access systems. These components often interface with roof assemblies, shaft enclosures and ceiling systems, making early coordination critical to avoid field conflicts and rework.

Mays, Maune, McWard has represented BILCO since 2015 and will focus on architects, distributors, roofing contractors and general contractors. Increased specification activity can influence project scopes where access openings intersect with fire-resistance-rated assemblies, ceiling plenums and life-safety pathways.

BILCO operates a commercial manufacturing facility in Trumann, Arkansas, along with additional plants in Ohio and Mexico, supporting regional supply. For contractors, proximity to manufacturing can affect freight costs, availability and turnaround on custom-configured units.

The company positions its products as specialized access and life-safety solutions rather than commodity openings.
