ATAS International announced that two employees have completed the Manufacturers Resource Center’s Manufacturing Leadership Institute, a six-month professional development program focused on leadership and business management skills.
The company said John Scorsone, director of Metalwërks Series, and Mike Clements, director of operations in Elkton, Md., recently completed the program. The institute is operated by the Manufacturers Resource Center in partnership with Lehigh University.
Founded in 2006, the program serves manufacturing professionals in the Lehigh Valley region and has graduated more than 400 participants. According to ATAS, the curriculum is designed to help leaders strengthen strategic planning, business management and organizational leadership skills.
“Both John and Mike have dedicated more than 20 years to the Metalwërks Series product line and continue to play a vital role following ATAS’ acquisition of Metalwërks in 2025,” the company said in a statement.
ATAS said it was among the top organizations represented in the most recent leadership institute cohort and noted its continued investment in employee development.
Founded in 1963, ATAS International, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of metal roofing, wall cladding, ceilings, perimeter edge metal, and accessories.
