CISCA TECH to Debut with Events in Virginia and Arizona
The new educational event is designed for estimators, project managers, foremen and supervisors in the ceilings and interior systems construction industry

The Ceilings & Interior Systems Construction Association will launch CISCA TECH, a new educational event designed for estimators, project managers, foremen and supervisors in the ceilings and interior systems construction industry.
The program will feature sessions led by technical ceiling experts, acoustic technical information, strategies for solving real-world field challenges and additional industry-focused education.
Contractors and industry professionals will have two opportunities to attend CISCA TECH: Sept. 16-18 in Alexandria, Va., and Oct. 7-9 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
CISCA TECH East in Virginia will include a “Meet the Experts” networking session, technical education on acoustics, ceiling specifications and seismic requirements, and panel discussions focused on field challenges that can derail projects.
Sessions will cover topics such as avoiding costly acoustic installation mistakes, identifying hidden specification requirements before work begins, understanding what inspectors look for in seismic specs, and navigating common field “landmines” involving job handoffs, communication gaps and labor challenges. The East event will also feature a case study on challenges and solutions from an award-winning project, along with a closing session on using conflict-resolution skills in the field.
