Catalyst Acoustics Names James Hou President
Catalyst Acoustics Group appoints James Hou as president to lead growth and operations.
Catalyst Acoustics Group (Catalyst), the parent company of a leading portfolio of acoustic, seismic, vibration and noise control brands, has appointed James Hou as Group President.
In his new role, Hou will oversee Fräsch, IAC Acoustics, Noise Barriers, Sound Seal and independent testing laboratory Riverbank Acoustical Laboratories. He will lead initiatives focused on operational excellence, commercial performance, customer experience and long-term growth across the company's portfolio.
Hou brings more than 28 years of global leadership experience in industrial and manufacturing organizations. Throughout his career, he has held executive leadership positions spanning operations, commercial management, product development, strategy and general management.
Most recently, Hou served as President of North America at Mirion Technologies, where he led multiple business units and drove improvements in revenue growth, margins and operational performance. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles with Regal Rexnord, Atkore, Owens Corning and Danaher.
Known for building high-performing teams and leading transformational business initiatives, Hou has consistently delivered sustainable growth in complex industrial organizations. Hou earned an MBA in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a bachelor's degree from National Cheng Kung University.
