American Stone-Mix Inc. and the W.R. Bonsal Co. Inc., two Oldcastle companies, have announced their merger as Bonsal American Inc. Both companies are producers of Sakrete Cement Mixes and related building materials. Each company also makes a variety of commercial grade construction and restoration products.

American Stone-Mix was bought by Oldcastle Architectural Products Group in 2000 and W.R. Bonsal was purchased by Oldcastle APG at the end of 2001.

Bonsal American Inc. will combine top management from both companies under the leadership of President Al Borm. Supporting Borm will be three executive vice presidents: Dave Mehtlan, Johnsie Beck and David Maske. The management team will be headquartered in Charlotte, N.C.
